Zechariah 12:10\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cAnd I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.<\/p>\n

Zechariah 13:1 \u00a0 <\/span>\u201cOn that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 59:19-21<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0So they shall fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come like a rushing stream, which the wind of the LORD drives.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cAnd a Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn from transgression,\u201d declares the LORD.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cAnd as for me, this is my covenant with them,\u201d says the LORD: \u201cMy Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children’s offspring,\u201d says the LORD, \u201cfrom this time forth and forevermore.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joel 2:28-29<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cAnd it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.\u00a0\u00a0Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit.<\/p>\n

Acts 2:33<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 <\/span>Titus 3:5-6<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,\u00a0\u00a0whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Who will turn to Jesus<\/i>, the\u00a0pierced<\/b>\u00a0One. His head was\u00a0pierced<\/b>\u00a0with thorns, His hands and feet were\u00a0pierced<\/b>\u00a0with nails, and a spear\u00a0pierced<\/b>\u00a0His side.\u00a0 <\/span>When we see Jesus crucified \u2013 understanding why He went to the cross and what He accomplished there \u2013 we are drawn to Him in humble repentance. They\/we will look on Him\u00a0whom they pierced<\/b>. They will realize that\u00a0they<\/b> did it or would have done it and that they bear responsibility \u2013 not sole responsibility, but responsibility nonetheless \u2013 for the crucifixion of their Savior. Sin and sinfulness must be put away.\u00a0 <\/span>Sin cannot be excused, condoned, or compromised with. We first must look to Jesus, then in the light of His holiness, grace, and mercy we mourn for our sins and repent. It is in this first act of looking to Jesus that our heart becomes tender, our conscience aware, and our sinfulness exposed. \u00a0A fountain of grace, mercy, and love is overflowing and is never-ending this side of eternity.\u00a0 <\/span>Now is the time to look to Jesus, look full into His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.\u00a0 Come to the fountain, drink richly from it, and live to honor and glorify the author and finisher of our salvation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
