Micah 7:8\u00a0 <\/span>Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me. I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause and executes judgment for me. He will bring me out to the light; I shall look upon his vindication. Then my enemy will see, and shame will cover her who said to me, \u201cWhere is the Lord your God?\u201d My eyes will look upon her; now she will be trampled down like the mire of the streets.<\/p>\n

Psalms 97:11<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.<\/p>\n

Psalms 112:4<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous.<\/p>\n

Psalms 27:1<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?<\/p>\n

Talk about faith and power through Jesus Christ – \u201cwhen I fall, I shall rise, when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me\u201d!!\u00a0 <\/span>How many times have you been in darkness?\u00a0 <\/span>Not the light associated with light and dark but darkness in your soul.\u00a0 <\/span>I am sure you can relate to this type of darkness when your heartaches, your mind can\u2019t seem to get out of the rut of some rejecting or negative thought, and no matter how hard your try the light of resolve for the darkness seems out of reach.\u00a0 <\/span>Days seem to drag on and you hope tomorrow is better somehow.\u00a0 <\/span>this is how it goes when we are looking from within our own self-reliance to overcome the darkness that is robbing light from our days.\u00a0 <\/span>Maybe we could learn to trust Jesus Christ more.\u00a0 <\/span>Maybe we could rely on Him more.\u00a0 <\/span>Maybe we could call out to Him more.\u00a0 <\/span>Maybe we could believe in Him more.\u00a0 <\/span>Maybe we could claim His promises more.\u00a0 <\/span>I am confident that if we did we too could say, \u201cwhen I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
