Psalms 49:1<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b> Hear this, all peoples! Give ear, all inhabitants of the world,<\/p>\n

Isaiah 34:1<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Draw near, O nations, to hear, and give attention, O peoples! Let the earth hear, and all that fills it; the world, and all that comes from it.<\/p>\n

Psalms 50:1<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b> The Mighty One, God the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 1:2<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for the LORD has spoken: \u201cChildren have I reared and brought up, but they have rebelled against me.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Have you ever tried to make a point to someone who did not want to listen to what you were telling them?\u00a0 <\/span>You start by reasoning and logically speak about what you know is to be true.\u00a0 <\/span>However, no matter what you say they have determined what you are telling them does not apply to them or they are different or it is foolishness.\u00a0 <\/span>Their mind is made up and you might as well be speaking to a rock.\u00a0 <\/span>Such it is with the very Word of God to those who harden their hearts against it.\u00a0 <\/span>God\u2019s Word can bring hope, faith, courage, rest, refuge, power, joy, purpose, focus, and love if the hearer would be open to hear it speak into their heart, mind, and soul.\u00a0 <\/span>God calls out through His prophets and His Word, \u201cListen\u201d, \u201cHear This\u201d, \u201cGive Attention\u201d, \u201cPay Attention\u201d, and \u201cGive Ear\u201d.\u00a0 <\/span>To what is God asking His creation to give ear too?\u00a0 <\/span>This can be summed up in John 3:16-21\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.\u00a0For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.\u00a0Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. \u00a0And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. \u00a0For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. \u00a0But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.\u201d<\/p>\n

He calls out to each person \u201cCome onto me\u201d \u201cCast your cares upon Me\u201d \u201cReceive redemption and salvation through My Son and spend eternity with me\u201d and yet deaf ears are turned toward His invitation.\u00a0 <\/span>God warns each person that rejection of His Son will result in eternal torment for eternity and yet deaf ears are turned toward Him.<\/p>\n

How many times do we go through our day with deaf ears turned on?\u00a0 <\/span>How many times do we listen more to what the world has to say and offer rather than seeking and desiring God\u2019s Word speaking into our life for each moment of every day?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
