Job 14:14\u00a0 <\/span>If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my service I would wait, till my renewal should come. You would call, and I would answer you; you would long for the work of your hands. For then you would number my steps; you would not keep watch over my sin: my transgression would be sealed up in a bag, and you would cover over my iniquity.<\/p>\n

Ezekiel 37:11-12\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0Then he said to me, \u201cSon of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, \u2018Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are indeed cut off.\u2019\u00a0\u00a0Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I will open your graves and raise you from your graves, O my people<\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 15:42-44<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable.\u00a0\u00a0It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.\u00a0\u00a0It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.<\/p>\n

Acts 26:8<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead?<\/p>\n

1 Thessalonians 4:16<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Death of our bodies will happen.\u00a0 <\/span>We will all die and enter into eternity.\u00a0 <\/span>The physical body we currently have will perish but we will be raised in an imperishable body.\u00a0 <\/span>God will raise us from the dead and our dry bones will once again be united with our spiritual body and we will walk with Jesus Christ in our new heavenly home.\u00a0 <\/span>Do you remember when Jesus said \u201cI go to prepare a place for you\u201d \u201cIn my Father’s house is many rooms\u201d, in this promise we have hope of eternity?\u00a0 <\/span>In this promise, we find a reason to live worthy of being called and adopted as children of God.<\/p>\n

Job is aware of man\u2019s sin, God\u2019s holiness, man\u2019s death, God\u2019s forgiveness in \u201ctill my renewal should come\u201d and \u201cmy transgression would be sealed up in a bag, and you would cover over my iniquity\u201d.\u00a0 <\/span>It is more than just knowing about death and resurrection and sin and forgiveness.\u00a0 <\/span>It is knowing and living each day with the thought that I could leave this world and enter eternity in a moment.\u00a0 <\/span>We never know the exact time or day we will die and enter eternity.\u00a0 <\/span>We live most days like it is far off in the distance and give no more thought about it than for a couple of seconds at best if at all.\u00a0 <\/span>How would we live if we knew today was our last day in this earthly body?\u00a0 <\/span>How would we live if we knew today was our last day to honor, glorify, follow, trust, obey, and rely on Jesus Christ? Would you stand before our Savior and hear \u201cwell done my good and faithful servant?\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Or, would you hear \u201cdepart from me I do not know you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Our walk with Jesus should be much more than a passing thought each day.\u00a0 <\/span>It should be the primary and predominant thought throughout each day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
