1 Chronicles 28:6\u00a0 <\/span>And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts; for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father. And I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and mine ordinances, as at this day. Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of Jehovah, and in the audience of our God, observe and seek out all the commandments of Jehovah your God; that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you for ever.<\/p>\n

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. Take heed now; for Jehovah hath chosen thee to build a house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.<\/p>\n

Hosea 4:1<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Hear the word of the LORD, O children of Israel, for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land;<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 24:7<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0I will give them a heart to know that I am the LORD, and they shall be my people and I will be their God, for they shall return to me with their whole heart.<\/p>\n

Acts 17:30<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,<\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 15:34<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.<\/p>\n

2 Corinthians 4:6<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0For God, who said, \u201cLet light shine out of darkness,\u201d has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Wake up, take heed, hear the word of the Lord, and repent.\u00a0 <\/span>Why the need to wake up – because we have fallen asleep to God\u2019s word.\u00a0 <\/span>Why take heed – because it will go well with you and you will find peace and rest.\u00a0 <\/span>Why hear the word of the Lord – because in it we find eternal life, peace, courage, joy, hope, strength, and love.\u00a0 <\/span>Why repent – because there must be a conscious recognition of our personal sin and intentional choice to turn away (repent) from it.<\/p>\n

This call o wake up, take heed, hear the word of the Lord, and repent is for everyone.\u00a0 <\/span>It is worthy of giving thought to it.\u00a0 <\/span>It is worthy of examining your life against it.\u00a0 <\/span>It is worthy of intentionally choosing to honor Jesus Christ with all our heart, mind, and soul, in all we think, say and do.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
