1 Kings 2:2 Be strong, and show yourself a man, and keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn, that the Lord may establish his word that he spoke concerning me, saying, If your sons pay close attention to their way, to walk before me in faithfulness with all their heart and with all their soul, you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.\u2019<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 29:9<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Therefore keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.<\/p>\n

Joshua 1:7<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.<\/p>\n

1 Chronicles 29:19<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Grant to Solomon my son a whole heart that he may keep your commandments, your testimonies, and your statutes<\/p>\n

Proverbs 3:1-4<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,\u00a0\u00a0for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.\u00a0\u00a0Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.\u00a0\u00a0So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.<\/p>\n

We have the liberty to walk in the way that we choose.\u00a0 <\/span>We are given this liberty\/choice to test our heart and mind. Walking in God\u2019s way is taking a narrow path and is full of promises, truth, grace, mercy, strength, hope, joy, love, courage\u2026\u2026 but the path that leads to destruction is wide and comes with promises but they are for the pleasures of the flesh. They are for this world and this side of eternity with no eyes on eternity, no eyes on coming judgment, no eyes on God, and living for the liberty of doing what pleases fleshly desires.<\/p>\n

I wonder if we take liberty with our walk with God.\u00a0 <\/span>We walk with Him on Sunday, at least for part of the day, but for the rest of the week, there is nothing different in our walk and those who are not walking with God at all.<\/p>\n

Walking with God is an intentional lifestyle choice for every moment of every day.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a humble walk of desiring and seeking to serve, glorify, honor, follow, and obey Jesus Christ.\u00a0 <\/span>There is no way this is possible if His word is not active in your life every day.\u00a0 <\/span>There is no way this is possible if there is not an intentional commitment each day.\u00a0 <\/span>There is no way possible if there is not a desire to know and be known by Him.\u00a0 <\/span>There is no way possible if there is no desire and want to listen to His word speak into your life.\u00a0 <\/span>Liberty and freedom of choice do not mean we are guiltless of the choices we make in this liberty and freedom.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cBlessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with their whole heart\u201d<\/p>\n
