Let him do what seems good to him.\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">2 Samuel 15:24<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>And Abiathar came up, and behold, Zadok came also with all the Levites, bearing the ark of the covenant of God. And they set down the ark of God until the people had all passed out of the city. Then the king said to Zadok, \u201cCarry the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the eyes of the Lord, he will bring me back and let me see both it and his dwelling place. But if he says, \u2018I have no pleasure in you,\u2019 behold, here I am, let him do to me what seems good to him.\u201d The king also said to Zadok the priest, \u201cAre you not a seer? Go back to the city in peace, with your two sons, Ahimaaz your son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar. See, I will wait at the fords of the wilderness until word comes from you to inform me.\u201d So Zadok and Abiathar carried the ark of God back to Jerusalem, and they remained there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"verseid:7.10.15\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Judges 10:15<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0And the people of Israel said to the LORD, \u201cWe have sinned; do to us whatever seems good to you. Only please deliver us this day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"verseid:9.3.18\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>1 Samuel 3:18<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0So Samuel told him everything and hid nothing from him. And he said, \u201cIt is the LORD. Let him do what seems good to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"verseid:18.1.20\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Job 1:20-21<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell on the ground and worshiped.\u00a0\u00a0And he said, \u201cNaked I came from my mother&#8217;s womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cIt is the Lord let Him do what seems good to Him.\u201d \u201c Father all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.\u201d What kind of heart and mind trust in God so much that for good or what seems bad they leave it fully in God\u2019s decision.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0Note Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego &#8211; \u201cIf this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Trusting God is a conscious choice to rely on Him and cling to Him and to know that he is the author and finisher, alpha and omega, beginning and end. In Him, we can find joy, peace, rest and strength when we yield the outcome into His hands and know that <b>all things work together for good<\/b>\u00a0to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. When we place our burden in God\u2019s hands and there is a strength and confidence that fills our soul because He is in control of the outcome.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 No longer do we have to go it alone and in our own strength and with our own wisdom.\u00a0 We can give it to Jesus and KNOW that He will do what is right and perfect for His honor and glory.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Every day is a new opportunity to trust in, cling to, and rely on Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2 Samuel 15:24\u00a0 And Abiathar came up, and behold, Zadok came also with all the Levites, bearing the ark of the covenant of God.
