“Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
\nfor his wondrous works to the children of man”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Judges 3:8
\nBut when the people of Israel cried out to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer for the people of Israel<\/strong>, who saved them, Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother. The Spirit of the Lord was upon him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and the Lord gave Cushan- rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand. And his hand prevailed over Cushan- rishathaim. So the land had rest forty years.<\/strong> Then Othniel the son of Kenaz died.<\/p>\n

1 Samuel 12:10
\nAnd they cried out to the Lord<\/strong> and said, \u2018We have sinned, because we have forsaken the Lord and have served the Baals and the Ashtaroth. But now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, that we may serve you.<\/p>\n

Psalms 106:44
\nNevertheless, he looked upon their distress,
\nwhen he heard their cry.
\nFor their sake he remembered his covenant,
\nand relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love<\/strong><\/p>\n

Psalms 107:13
\nThen they cried to the Lord in their trouble<\/strong>,
\nand he delivered them from their distress.<\/strong>
\nHe brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death,
\nand burst their bonds apart.
\nLet them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
\nfor his wondrous works to the children of man<\/p>\n

These scriptures tell of His abundant steadfast love.\u00a0Does God’s love change? Definitely not.\u00a0We find ourselves in times of trouble and wonder how did we get there. \u00a0It seems we have a desire to serve things that please us. \u00a0If our heart desire is to find satisfaction outside of God and His purpose for our life, this path will lead us to false hope and illusions. \u00a0It is sad to see how easy it is to drift away from God into places of unrest for our soul. We can easily follow our sinful nature and the culture we live in but the fact remains that we were created by the one true triune God. \u00a0Doesn’t it seem strange that we choose to live apart from His love and purpose for our lives. \u00a0We are not immune to this. \u00a0I think this is why He has created a body of believers who help each other when trials and trouble comes our way. \u00a0We are to encourage each other with our faith, worship, and love. \u00a0We demonstrate this through our actions which point to God the purpose of our being. \u00a0Be an encouragement to someone today.
