Exodus 16:4 \u00a0 <\/span>Then the Lord said to Moses, \u201cBehold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not. On the sixth day, when they prepare what they bring in, it will be twice as much as they gather daily.\u201d So Moses and Aaron said to all the people of Israel, \u201cAt evening you shall know that it was the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and in the morning you shall see the glory of the Lord, because he has heard your grumbling against the Lord. For what are we, that you grumble against us?\u201d And Moses said, \u201cWhen the Lord gives you in the evening meat to eat and in the morning bread to the full, because the Lord has heard your grumbling that you grumble against him\u2014what are we? Your grumbling is not against us but against the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 8:2<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0And you shall remember the whole way that the LORD your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.<\/p>\n

Joshua 24:15<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It is a choice to make between serving God and serving self.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to be humble when pride is knocking at your door.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to seek God first when everything in you says to handle it yourself.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to wait on God\u2019s perfect plan and purpose when timing of our trial\/trouble is weighting us down.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to trust in, rely on, and cling to God when chaos fills our lives.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to desire Him rather than a fix to our problems.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to want to spend time in His word and hear Him speak to our heart when we seem to be burdened with busyness.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to not grumble.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to keep unity.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to allow yourself to be wronged.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to forgive others.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to be joyful.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to say no to things of this world that replace God in our lives.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to do what is right even when others are not.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to make disciples.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to share the Gospel.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to be kind.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to be generous.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to praise and worship God.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to dwell on things of God.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to be thankful.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to encourage others.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to find refuge in God.\u00a0 <\/span>It is a choice to used by Him.<\/p>\n

Choose this day whom you will serve.\u00a0 <\/span>But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
