Exodus 15:2\u00a0 <\/span>The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him,<\/p>\n

Psalms 18:2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.<\/p>\n

Psalms 27:1<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b> The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?<\/p>\n

Habakkuk 3:17-19<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,\u00a0\u00a0yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.\u00a0\u00a0GOD, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places<\/p>\n

Psalms 59:17<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0O my Strength, I will sing praises to you, for you, O God, are my fortress, the God who shows me steadfast love.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 31:33<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 32:38<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We never have to go a problem or trial on our own.\u00a0 <\/span>God is there always.\u00a0 <\/span>Nothing can happen to us that God is not present, aware, or in control of.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cI take refuge<\/em>\u201d – when trials come,\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cMy strong hold<\/em>\u201d – when life situations are hard.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cMy deliverer<\/em>\u201d – when I am overwhelmed. \u201cMy Rock<\/em>\u201d – when bad things are all around.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cMy salvation<\/em>\u201d – when sin knocks at my heart.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cMy Fortress<\/em>\u201d – when my earthly strength is gone.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cMy strength<\/em>\u201d – when I feel weak. “My shield” – when being attacked with Satan’s lies.<\/p>\n

We all face trails and uncertainty in our lives.\u00a0 <\/span>They come on us with and without warning.\u00a0 <\/span>It would be nice to have advanced notice but that is never going to happen.\u00a0 <\/span>However, we have God, we are His children, we are His people, and He has given us precious promises for us to have hope and trust in.<\/p>\n

In hope and trust we find joy and peace.\u00a0 <\/span>When our heart, soul, and mind seek and desire God, trials that come our way can be faced with rejoicing and praising God.<\/p>\n

Being truly thankful to God for whatever comes our way is something that must be cultivated in both peaceful times and hard times.\u00a0 <\/span>If we are not seeking and desiring God in peaceful times, it will be very difficult to cultivate rejoicing in hard times.\u00a0 <\/span>Commit to having Him present in and throughout all aspects of your day.\u00a0 <\/span>Seek to hear Him speak to your heart and mind.\u00a0 <\/span>Learn to see His hand at work in everyday life.\u00a0 <\/span>Keep your ears and eyes open for His leading.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
