\nBut I, through the abundance of your steadfast love, will enter your house. I will bow down<\/strong> toward your holy temple in the fear of you.<\/p>\n

Joshua 24:15
\nAnd if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve<\/strong>, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

Choose this day whom you will serve, worship, honor and glorify. \u00a0This was spoken by Joshua near the end of his life as another reminder to those he was leading. \u00a0David said I will call on the Lord who will save me. And because he knew this and believed it he said Lets go to His dwelling place and worship Him. \u00a0These are summed up by the writer of Hebrews in Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. \u00a0How hard is it to stay near God? \u00a0What is His grace and mercy like to you? \u00a0What does it mean to worship Him? \u00a0How do I know if I am worshiping Him? \u00a0We must recognize that we by nature want to be separated from God and we must choose to draw near and stay near to Him. \u00a0This is a choice all day, every day. \u00a0 \u00a0When we make this choice we find or see more and more blessings from the hand of God and we are able to acknowledge and thank\/worship Him. It is hard to stay near to Him without being in His word. \u00a0It is hard to find someone you are not looking for. \u00a0It is hard to thank\/worship one you do not acknowledge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
