{"id":45364,"date":"2018-08-03T01:39:34","date_gmt":"2018-08-03T06:39:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/prayingpint.com\/?p=45364"},"modified":"2018-08-03T01:39:34","modified_gmt":"2018-08-03T06:39:34","slug":"fully-convinced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.prayingpint.com\/index.php\/2018\/08\/03\/fully-convinced\/","title":{"rendered":"Fully convinced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"verseid:1.17.15\"><b>Genesis 17:15<\/b>\u00a0<\/a><\/span>\u00a0And God said to Abraham, \u201cAs for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name. \u00a0I will bless her, and moreover, I will give you a son by her. I will bless her, and she shall become nations; kings of peoples shall come from her.\u201d \u00a0Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said to himself, \u201cShall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\"> <a href=\"verseid:45.4.19\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Romans 4:19-20<\/b><\/span><\/a><\/span><b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah&#8217;s womb.\u00a0\u00a0No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><a href=\"verseid:58.11.11\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Hebrews 11:11-19<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised.\u00a0\u00a0Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore\u00a0\u00a0These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.\u00a0\u00a0For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.\u00a0\u00a0If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return.\u00a0\u00a0But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.\u00a0\u00a0By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son,\u00a0\u00a0of whom it was said, \u201cThrough Isaac shall your offspring be named.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Faith is somewhat of a mystery. Scripture says it is the \u201csubstance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>In this mystery we find salvation and forgiveness of sin.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We find strength for today and hope for tomorrow.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We experience peace when things around us are falling apart.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We find joy in the midst of trials.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We learn to lean not on our own understanding but through prayer we, by faith, let our requests be know to God.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>By faith we trust He will guide, direct, protect, and care for our needs.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>By faith we wake each day knowing He is in control and has a perfect plan and purpose for our day.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>By faith we acknowledge His unlimited steadfast love and control over all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Genesis 17:15\u00a0\u00a0And God said to Abraham, \u201cAs for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name. \u00a0I will bless her, and moreover, I will give you a son by her.
