(He was priest of God Most High.) \u00a0And he blessed him and said, \u201cBlessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; \u00a0and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!\u201d And Abram gave him a tenth of everything. \u00a0And the king of Sodom said to Abram, \u201cGive me the persons, but take the goods for yourself.\u201d \u00a0But Abram said to the king of Sodom, \u201cI have lifted my hand to the LORD, God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth, \u00a0that I would not take a thread or a sandal strap or anything that is yours, lest you should say, \u2018I have made Abram rich.\u2019 \u00a0I will take nothing but what the young men have eaten, and the share of the men who went with me. Let Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre take their share.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"verseid:11.13.8\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>1 Kings 13:8<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0And the man of God said to the king, \u201cIf you give me half your house, I will not go in with you. And I will not eat bread or drink water in this place,<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"verseid:12.5.16\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>2 Kings 5:16<\/b><\/span><\/a><b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0But he said, \u201cAs the LORD lives, before whom I stand, I will receive none.\u201d And he urged him to take it, but he refused.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Walking blameless before God.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>In a<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>society and culture there are obviously insights to what is right and wrong gained through childhood and youth depending on the influence of others.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>When a generation takes a small step away from God it is not long before the next takes steps so far away that God no longer is given thought.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>What was taught to children as truth from parents, teachers, society and culture can erode fast when honoring and living for God is looked at as a threat to society.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Enlightenment and teaching of liberal worldly wisdom<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>as truth and God as false hope for the weak has to certainly confuse impressional minds of the young.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>How is the next generation to have hope of walking blameless if they are not given guidance while they are young so that in the time of choices they choose to walk blameless before God not man.
