Psalms 119:81<\/b>\u00a0<\/a><\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>My soul longs for your salvation; I hope in your word. \u00a0My eyes long for your promise; I ask, \u201cWhen will you comfort me?\u201d \u00a0For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, yet I have not forgotten your statutes. \u00a0How long must your servant endure? When will you judge those who persecute me? \u00a0The insolent have dug pitfalls for me; they do not live according to your law. \u00a0All your commandments are sure; they persecute me with falsehood; help me! Matthew 6:24<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u201cNo one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.<\/p>\n

James 1:8<\/b><\/span><\/a><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.<\/p>\n

There are many things that can lead us down a path of being “lukewarm or double-minded”.\u00a0 Probably the most influential would be being complacent with and neglecting God’s word.<\/p>\n

His word is a lamp unto my feet,\u00a0food to my soul, strength to my heart, encouragement to my mind.\u00a0 In and through His word is the “Good News” of the gospel of Jesus Christ, our savior.<\/p>\n

Determine in and through His word what it means to humbly serve, honor, glorify, follow and obey Him.\u00a0 Learn of His holiness, grace, mercy, and love.\u00a0 Learn of His promises.\u00a0 Learn to hear His quiet whispers of leading.\u00a0 Learn to trust in, rely on, and cling to Him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
