Pursuing righteousness is more than a brain test of discipline, it is heart deep.\u00a0What is it like to continually thirst for righteousness? \u00a0What is it like to thirst for God? What is it like to come to God and drink? \u00a0I love the metaphor – hunger and thirst. \u00a0Imagine a hot day and you were without water for sometime, you were so thirsty and how \u00a0that cold glass of water felt when you drank it? God\u2019s word is like this cold glass of water for those who\u2019s heart deep desire is to “pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure hear<\/b>t\u201d. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBlessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,<\/b> for they shall be satisfied<\/p>\n

Psalms 42:2<\/p>\n

My soul thirsts for God,<\/b><\/p>\n

for the living God<\/b><\/p>\n

Isaiah 55:1<\/p>\n

\u201cCome, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money,\u00a0 come, buy and eat!
