Psalms 27:1-3<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?LORD will be a light to me; of whom shall I be afraid?\u00a0\u00a0When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall.\u00a0\u00a0Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.<\/p>\n

Psalms 46:1<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.<\/p>\n

Psalms 46:11<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.<\/p>\n

Psalms 56:4<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?<\/p>\n

Psalms 146:5<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,<\/p>\n

Micah 7:8-10<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me.\u00a0\u00a0I will bear the indignation of the LORD because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause and executes judgment for me. He will bring me out to the light; I shall look upon his vindication.<\/p>\n

Romans 8:31<\/b><\/span><\/a><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?<\/p>\n

Hebrews 13:6<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0So we can confidently say, \u201cThe Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?\u201d<\/p>\n

Darkness to light. When we experience darkness and there is no light for us to see, we are concerned about what we might walk into and what might be in front of us.\u00a0 Are we going to walk into a wall or off of a cliff?\u00a0 Life’s trials can give us the same concern, fear, and worry as being in darkness.\u00a0 We don’t see what is around us or ahead of us.<\/p>\n

I thank God for His word of encouragement.\u00a0 “When I sit in darkness, He will be a light to me.” “He is my helper.” “He will bring me out to the light.” “God is our fortress.”\u00a0 “God is very present help in trouble.” “LORD will be a light to me.” “God is for me.”<\/p>\n
