Psalms 119:68<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0You are good and do good; teach me your statutes.<\/p>\n

Psalms 119:90-91<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.\u00a0\u00a0By your appointment they stand this day, for all things are your servants.<\/p>\n

Exodus 34:6-7<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0The LORD passed before him and proclaimed, \u201cThe LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness,\u00a0\u00a0keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 7:9<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,<\/p>\n

Romans 15:8-9<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God’s truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs,\u00a0\u00a0and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, \u201cTherefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tit 1:1-3<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began\u00a0and at the proper time manifested in his word<\/p>\n

When I read these verses of God’s steadfast love and faithfulness to all generations I wonder what should be manifested in a life that believes this with all their heart, mind, and soul. \u00a0What thoughts come to mind when trials, troubles, and issues run full force into our lives? \u00a0Do I wait for the one who is my refuge, hope, rock, strength or do I fret, worry, and have thoughts of defeat and giving up? \u00a0See the depth of faith in time of great fear; \u00a0Habakkuk 3:16-18<\/b><\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0<\/b>\u00a0 I hear, and my body trembles; my lips quiver at the sound; rottenness enters into my bones; my legs tremble beneath me. Yet I will quietly wait<\/strong> for the day of trouble to come upon people who invade us.<\/em>\u00a0 Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,<\/em>\u00a0 yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
