Psalms 89:26<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0He shall cry to me, \u2018You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.\u2019 \u00a0And I will make him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. \u00a0My steadfast love I will keep for him forever, and my covenant will stand firm for him. \u00a0I will establish his offspring forever and his throne as the days of the heavens. \u00a0If his children forsake my law and do not walk according to my rules, \u00a0if they violate my statutes and do not keep my commandments, \u00a0then I will punish their transgression with the rod and their iniquity with stripes, \u00a0but I will not remove from him my steadfast love or be false to my faithfulness. \u00a0I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that went forth from my lips.<\/p>\n

The rock of my salvation. \u00a0We have times we seem to experience being broken and unable to see blessings, joy, peace, and hope. Life happens and is going along fine and then out of the blue it is upside down. \u00a0The rock of my salvation, my refuge, my strength, my hope, my joy, my peace, my defender, my power, my help, and my guidance are all words used by men who looked to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in times of trouble. \u00a0These men chose to keep in the presence of God at all times. \u00a0\u00a0Keeping close to God and seeking His help is easy in broken and confusing times of our life. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Shouldn’t we want to desire to be close to God at all times living to humbly serve, honor, follow and obey Him? \u00a0 Holding on to God’s hand through life is so much easier than running off into things alone. \u00a0Listening to His whispers of guidance each day and staying in communion with Him will keep our heart, mind, and soul focused with hope, joy, and peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
