John 19:37<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0And again another Scripture says, \u201cThey will look on him whom they have pierced<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Psalms 22:16-17<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0For dogs encompass me; a company of evildoers encircles me; they have pierced my hands and feet<\/strong>\u2014\u00a0\u00a0I can count all my bones\u2014 they stare and gloat over me;<\/p>\n

Zechariah 12:10<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u201cAnd I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced<\/strong>, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.<\/p>\n

Proverbs 1:23<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you<\/strong>; I will make my words known to you.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 44:3<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.\u00a0\u00a0They shall spring up among the grass like willows by flowing streams.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ezekiel 39:29<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0And I will not hide my face anymore from them, when I pour out my Spirit<\/strong> upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord GOD.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joel 2:28<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cAnd it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;<\/strong> your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.\u00a0\u00a0Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit.<\/p>\n

Acts 2:33<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Titus 3:5<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,\u00a0\u00a0whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,<\/strong><\/p>\n

Revelation 1:7<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him<\/strong>, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.<\/p>\n

“I will pour out My Spirit” comes from Jesus Christ who was Nailed to the cross. \u00a0It is hard to understand the grace, mercy, and love shown to us. \u00a0We certainly do not deserve this. \u00a0While on earth Jesus demonstrated love, mercy, and grace. He opened the eyes of the blind. \u00a0He gave hearing to the deaf. He cast out demons. \u00a0He brought others back to life. He healed the sick. He fed the hungry. He healed the crippled. \u00a0And for this he was nailed to the cross. \u00a0He forgave those who nailed Him to the cross and murdered Him. \u00a0Why did He do this? \u00a0Why did He say “for the joy set before me” as He entered into Jerusalem, knowing He was going to be flogged, nailed to the cross and die? \u00a0It was His great love for each of us lost sheep. \u00a0We were born in sin, living in sin, and without hope. \u00a0He knew this and came to earth as a man, to redeem the lost.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/em>But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Do you have Christ in your life? Do you know the leading of the Holy Spirit? \u00a0Come to the One who sacrificed His life so that you might have life and life more abundantly. \u00a0Come to the One who can save you from eternal damnation. \u00a0Come to the one who can forgive your sins. \u00a0Come to the redeemer of the lost. \u00a0Believe on the One who gives joy, hope, and love. \u00a0Confess your sin, believe in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross, desire to know Him, study His word, and humbly serve, honor, follow and obey Him all the days of your life this side of eternity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
