\u201cSimon Peter replied, \u201cYou are the Christ, the Son of the living God.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

John 7:40<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0When they heard these words, some of the people said, \u201cThis really is the Prophet.\u201d \u00a0Others said, \u201cThis is the Christ.\u201d But some said, \u201cIs the Christ to come from Galilee? \u00a0Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the offspring of David, and comes from Bethlehem, the village where David was?\u201d \u00a0So there was a division among the people over him. \u00a0Some of them wanted to arrest him, but no one laid hands on him. \u00a0The officers then came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, \u201cWhy did you not bring him?\u201d \u00a0The officers answered, \u201cNo one ever spoke like this man!\u201d \u00a0The Pharisees answered them, \u201cHave you also been deceived? \u00a0Have any of the authorities or the Pharisees believed in him? \u00a0But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed.\u201d \u00a0Nicodemus, who had gone to him before, and who was one of them, said to them, \u00a0\u201cDoes our law judge a man without first giving him a hearing and learning what he does?\u201d \u00a0They replied, \u201cAre you from Galilee too? Search and see that no prophet arises from Galilee.\u201d<\/p>\n

Matthew 10:35<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.<\/p>\n

Luke 12:51<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division.<\/p>\n

Acts 14:4<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0But the people of the city were divided; some sided with the Jews and some with the apostles.<\/p>\n

Acts 23:7<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0And when he had said this, a dissension arose between the Pharisees and the Sadducees, and the assembly was divided.\u00a0\u00a0For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, nor angel, nor spirit, but the Pharisees acknowledge them all.\u00a0\u00a0Then a great clamor arose, and some of the scribes of the Pharisees’ party stood up and contended sharply, \u201cWe find nothing wrong in this man. What if a spirit or an angel spoke to him?\u201d<\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 1:22<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom,\u00a0\u00a0but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles,\u00a0\u00a0but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.\u00a0\u00a0For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.\u00a0\u00a0For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.\u00a0\u00a0But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;\u00a0\u00a0God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,<\/p>\n

Acts 6:7<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.<\/p>\n

Scripture is clear on the fact that there are going to be people who see, hear and believe. \u00a0There are also those who are on the fence and those who are hard set and will not believe. \u00a0Division will come because of this. \u00a0Once our heart, mind and soul has been awakened to the truth a choice will be made. \u00a0The problem is that many do not see the magnitude of the choice they are making. \u00a0This choice has eternal consequences. \u00a0Forever with Christ or forever separated and tormented day and night. Just because a person can say it will not happen and that it is all fantasy does not make this a fact of truth. \u00a0Many educated and worldly wise people have taken hard stances and declared the thought there being a God, creation, and need of salvation, FOOLISHNESS and being SIMPLE MINDED. \u00a0Others take a path of complacent neglect and commit to what seems to be a place in the middle but unfortunately the results are the same. \u00a0They may not speak out against God but they do not acknowledge Him or their sin and in need of Christ. Their choice is still not to believe. \u00a0In meetings there are those who can vote for, against, or abstain. However with this decision here is no middle ground. Abstaining from making the choice to believe, humbly serve, honor, follow and obey is to deny God and the need for your sins to be forgiven. \u00a0The result of choosing to abstain is forever separated and tormented day and night forever. \u00a0Those who choose to believe and see the need for redemption come to Christ with broken hearts and wanting forgiveness of sin. \u00a0Their heart and mind have been opened by God and they are drawn by Him to this place of decision. \u00a0They rely on, trust in and cling to Him for they know there is absolutely no other way to be right before God but by through the redeeming work of Christ. \u00a0They can walk in His light, His purpose and know their eternal destiny. \u00a0Acknowledge your sin, seek and trust in forgiveness through Christ, and humbly serve Him. \u00a0Jesus Christ came into the world to seek and save the lost. \u00a0John 3:16<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0\u201cFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. \u00a0For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. \u00a0Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. \u00a0And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. \u00a0<\/a>\u00a0For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. \u00a0But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
