Sometimes we get into a thought pattern that is all about getting more and more without the thought of giving more and more. \u00a0Where is the limit on what we should give? How much of what God has blessed us with should we hoard? Doesn’t He want us to bless others with what He gives us? \u00a0It is easy to think I have worked for something or I deserve something because of my effort. \u00a0Yet in all of this is it not God who has given us abilities and opportunities to both think and do. \u00a0Our treasure is still waiting for us in Heaven. \u00a0Our life here should be one of humbly serving God. \u00a0Learning to hear His quiet voice speak to our heart to give to those in need rather than to ourselves. \u00a0We think giving 10% of what we make is good . \u00a0In reality there is no percentage on what is expected – rather we should thankfully place it all in the hands of God and not limit our giving to a certain percent. \u00a0Is it possible that we limit God into our lives because we close our ears and hearts to His leading when we hit 10%?<\/p>\n

\nBut a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, and with his wife’s knowledge he kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and laid it at the apostles ‘feet. But Peter said, \u201cAnanias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God<\/strong><\/p>\n
