\u201cFor the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.\u00a0\u00a0And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

John 4:25<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0The woman said to him, \u201cI know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.\u201d \u00a0Jesus said to her, \u201cI who speak to you am he.\u201d \u00a0Just then his disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, \u201cWhat do you seek?\u201d or, \u201cWhy are you talking\u00a0 with her?\u201d \u00a0So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, \u00a0\u201cCome, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?\u201d \u00a0They went out of the town and were coming to him.<\/p>\n

Romans 10:20<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Then Isaiah is so bold as to say, \u201cI have been found by those who did not seek me; I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0But of Israel he says, \u201cAll day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Revelation 22:17<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0The Spirit and the Bride say, \u201cCome.\u201d And let the one who hears say, \u201cCome.\u201d And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.<\/p>\n

Quite a contrast between “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.\u201d<\/em> and\u00a0\u201cI have been found by those who did not seek me; I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.\u201d \u00a0<\/em>I am reminded about the record of when Jesus cast out demons from a man and the people from that town, when they heard of this, the leaders from town came out to plead with Him to leave. \u00a0In contrast the Samaritan people came out to Him and pleaded with Him to stay. \u00a0It is all a matter of the heart, mind, and soul. \u00a0Scripture says “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.<\/em>” \u00a0We have a choice to open the door to our heart, mind, and soul to Him. \u00a0I wonder if we keep our ears open to hear this knock. \u00a0I wonder if we expect to hear from Him. \u00a0I wonder if we have no expectation to hear and we do not seek to hear, how long will it be before we have sealed our ears and hardened our heart and closed our mind so firmly that we are lost forever and without hope? \u00a0Run to Him pleading with Him to stay.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
