Psalms 78:1<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0 Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth!\u00a0 \u00a0I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old,\u00a0 \u00a0things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us.\u00a0 \u00a0We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.\u00a0 \u00a0He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, \u00a0that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children,\u00a0 \u00a0so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments;\u00a0 \u00a0and that they should not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to God.<\/p>\n

Proverbs 8:4<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u201cTo you, O men, I call, and my cry is to the children of man.\u00a0\u00a0O simple ones, learn prudence; O fools, learn sense.\u00a0\u00a0Hear, for I will speak noble things, and from my lips will come what is right,<\/p>\n

Isaiah 51:4<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u201cGive attention to me, my people, and give ear to me, my nation; for a law will go out from me, and I will set my justice for a light to the peoples.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 55:3<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 11:19<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.<\/p>\n

It is up to us to proclaim the grace, mercy, love, hope, might and power of God. \u00a0It is a light to those who like us were in darkness. \u00a0When are we to speak of God? \u00a0When we are sitting in our homes, when we are walking, when we lie down and when we rise up. \u00a0The pace of our lives seems to be able to distract us from this. \u00a0We need to be mindful of that which distracts us and hold fast to Him and His word. \u00a0Practice putting His word into your mind. Read His word and then meditate on it through out the day. \u00a0Speak about it and discuss it. \u00a0Praise God through your life being lived out in honor and service to Him. \u00a0Set all your hopes in and on Him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
