At the moment recovery seemed impossible, God intervened: the iron rose from the depths and floated, defying nature itself. The miracle reminds us that what is impossible for people remains fully within God’s reach.

Three personal examples reinforce the truth that faith opens the way for divine help:

When faced with a task far beyond his ability, he recoiled at the thought of attempting it. But as he trusted God’s call and moved forward in faith, unexpected help came, and the impossible became possible—the iron did swim.

When he was trapped in severe financial need and could not convert his assets in time to meet urgent obligations, human help failed, but faith led him to the true Helper. God resolved the crisis, and again, the iron did swim.

When he wrestled with a hardened heart that resisted teaching and persuasion, human effort proved inadequate, earnest prayer prevailed. God answered, softened the heart, and the iron did swim.

These accounts invite us to ask: What burden feels overwhelming? The living God who helped the prophets still works today and promises aid to those who trust Him. Do not despair or accept defeat. Come to God in faith, call on the name of Jesus, and trust Him to turn your impossibility into a testimony of His power.

In every desperate case, however hopeless it seems, faith in God opens the door to divine intervention. As you face your struggles, hold fast to the promise: “According to thy faith be it unto thee, and yet again the iron shall swim.” Let this assurance strengthen your heart and lead you to seek God for miracles in your own life.
