The Psalmist pleads, \u201cTeach me your statutes!\u201d (Psalm 119:12), recognizing the need for God\u2019s revelation to enlighten the mind and heart. The Holy Spirit illuminates the meaning of Scripture, applying its truths to the believer\u2019s life and conscience. As the mind is renewed (Romans 12:2), the conscience becomes a more reliable guide, increasingly aligned with God\u2019s will rather than merely human opinion or cultural norms.
