\nLuke 12:15-21 \u00a0 <\/span>Then he said to them, \u201cWatch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.\u201d And he told them a parable, saying, \u201cThe land of a rich man produced plentifully, \u00a0and he thought to himself, \u2018What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?\u2019 And he said, \u2018I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.\u00a0 <\/span>And I will say to my soul, \u201cSoul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.\u201d\u2019 \u00a0But God said to him, \u2018Fool! For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, \u00a0coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span>Colossians 3:5<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0 <\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.<\/p>\n
1 Timothy 6:7-10<\/b><\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world.\u00a0\u00a0But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.\u00a0\u00a0But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.\u00a0\u00a0For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span>2 Timothy 3:2<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0 <\/b>\u00a0\u00a0For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span>Hebrews 13:5<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0 <\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, \u201cI will never leave you nor forsake you.\u201d<\/p>\n
