\nDeu 27:9-10<\/b>\u00a0<\/a><\/span>\u00a0Then Moses and the Levitical priests said to all Israel, \u201cKeep silence and hear, O Israel: this day you have become the people of the LORD your God.\u00a0You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God, keeping his commandments and his statutes, which I command you today.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have become the people of the Lord your God\u201d.<\/i><\/b><\/span> As children of the King of Kings, we are blessed beyond all measure. Through God\u2019s grace, mercy, and love we have been redeemed and born again through faith in Jesus Christ\u2019s sacrifice. Jesus suffered beating, ridicule, whipping, and nailed to the cross. He did this to redeem and save us from the corruption within our souls.\u00a0 <\/span>What manner of children should we be in light of this?<\/p>\n
Should we:<\/p>\n

- Give into worldly pleasures and lusts?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
- Give into greed, pride, fear, anxiousness, hate, jealousy, worry, etc\u2026?<\/li>\n
- Give into the busyness of life?<\/li>\n
- Give into neglect of God\u2019s Word?<\/li>\n
- Give into being babes in our knowledge and understanding of God\u2019s Word and things of God?<\/li>\n
- Give into being lukewarm in our commitment?<\/li>\n
- Give into gossip?<\/li>\n
- Give into blind eyes and deaf ears to the leading of the Holy Spirit?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
We are a child of God, the King of Kings, Creator of all there is, our all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present Heavenly Father.
