Psalms 74:9<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0We do not see our signs; there is no longer any prophet, and there is none among us who knows how long.\u00a0 \u00a0How long, O God, is the foe to scoff? Is the enemy to revile your name forever?\u00a0 \u00a0Why do you hold back your hand, your right hand? Take it from the fold of your garment and destroy them!\u00a0 \u00a0Yet God my King is from of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.<\/p>\n

Exodus 12:13<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.<\/p>\n

Judges 6:17<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0And he said to him, \u201cIf now I have found favor in your eyes, then show me a sign that it is you who speak with me.<\/p>\n

1 Samuel 3:1<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Now the boy Samuel was ministering to the LORD in the presence of Eli. And the word of the LORD was rare in those days; there was no frequent vision.<\/p>\n

Can you imagine what it would be like if there was a famine of hearing God’s word? \u00a0A time where He pulled back and gave no signs, visions, or spoke with His children. \u00a0It is hard to imagine in a time when His word is so readily available. \u00a0I wonder if we intentionally choose to act as though His word is not there. \u00a0It is available but we seem to see no need to spend time in it. \u00a0We easily lose sight of our purpose this side of eternity in exchange for carefree living now. \u00a0His word is a light unto our feet, a refuge for our heart and soul, and a guide to know and understand His purpose for our lives. \u00a0Do not neglect the gift of His word or seeking to have no other purpose than to humbly serve, honor, follow and obey Him. \u00a0Now is the day of commitment, now is the day of redemption, now is the day of turning away from that which is not pleasing to God, now is the day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
