Malachi 2:10<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why then are we faithless to one another, profaning the covenant of our fathers?<\/p>\n

Isaiah 63:16<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0For you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us; you, O LORD, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.<\/p>\n

Psalms 100:3<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.<\/p>\n

Acts 17:25<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.<\/p>\n

It is good to be reminded and know life, breath, and everything is from God and we are His! \u00a0He made us and we are His people. \u00a0He has redeemed us. \u00a0We exist for Him through Jesus Christ. \u00a0Because of this we are to humbly serve, honor, follow and obey. \u00a0This will have different meaning to each of us. \u00a0Yet I have to wonder if we truly believe that He has given us everything and we exist for Him alone. \u00a0Our culture lends itself to leading us down paths without God. \u00a0We trust in forgiveness but walk in sin with no thought of whom we exist to serve. \u00a0We rely on our conscious to direct us but feed it very little with His word. \u00a0We shut our ears to His leading and expect Him to bless, protect, guide, love, and answer our weak prayers. \u00a0The thing is we are no different than those of which history speaks. \u00a0We, like them, get easily distracted by things of this world, lusts of our flesh, and covet what we see with our eyes. \u00a0These paths of the world should not be those we walk. \u00a0Our path is the path for whom we exist. \u00a0To know this path, to walk this path, and to stay on this path we need to continually grow our desire to know and serve Him. \u00a0Stay in His word each day – serve, follow and obey His leading.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
