“Only acknowledge your guilt,
\nthat you rebelled against the Lord your God”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hosea 2:20
\nI will betroth you to me in faithfulness. And you shall know the Lord.
\n\u201cAnd in that day I will answer, declares the Lord<\/strong>,
\nI will answer the heavens,
\nand they shall answer the earth,
\nand the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil,
\nand they shall answer Jezreel,
\nand I will sow her for myself in the land.
\nAnd I will have mercy on No Mercy,
\nand I will say to Not My People, You are my people\u2019;<\/strong>
\nand he shall say, \u2018You are my God.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 3:13
\nOnly acknowledge your guilt,<\/strong>
\n that you rebelled against the Lord your God<\/strong>
\nand scattered your favors among foreigners under every green tree,
\nand that you have not obeyed my voice,<\/strong>
\n declares the Lord.<\/strong>
\nReturn, O faithless children,
\ndeclares the Lord;
\nfor I am your master;
\nI will take you, one from a city and two from a family,
\nand I will bring you to Zion.
\n\u201c\u2018And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding<\/strong>. And when you have multiplied and been fruitful in the land, in those days, declares the Lord”<\/p>\n

A voice on the bare heights is heard,
\nthe weeping and pleading of Israel’s sons
\nbecause they have perverted their way;
\nthey have forgotten the Lord their God.
\n\u201cReturn, O faithless sons;<\/strong>
\n I will heal your faithlessness.<\/strong>\u201d
\n\u201cBehold, we come to you,
\nfor you are the Lord our God.<\/p>\n

Zechariah 8:16
\nThese are the things that you shall do: Speak the truth to one another<\/strong>; render in your gates judgments that are true and make for peace; do not devise evil in your hearts against one another,<\/strong> and love no false oath, for all these things I hate, declares the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yesterday we saw from scripture that in times of prosperity the chance is great for moral decline. \u00a0God is faithful even when we are not. \u00a0He is true even when we are not. God is present even when we do not acknowledge Him. Look how God pleads with man in the verses from today:\u00a0, –\u00a0“Only acknowledge your guilt,\u00a0that you rebelled against the Lord your God” –\u00a0\u201cReturn, O faithless sons;\u00a0I will heal your faithlessness\u201d, – \u00a0“And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding”. \u00a0Moral decline happens when men and women do not acknowledge God or seek knowledge and understanding of Him, and no longer listen to or for His voice, they do not speak truth to one another. \u00a0In the end they have forgotten His word and have no moral compass other than what seems right in their own eyes. \u00a0Stay in His word, desire Him, listen to Him, and obey His leading. \u00a0To speak truth to one another you must know what truth is.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
