“know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Psalms 44:20<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0If we had forgotten the name of our God or spread out our hands to a foreign god, would not God discover this? For he knows the secrets of the heart.<\/p>\n

Psalms 7:3-5<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0O LORD my God, if I have done this, if there is wrong in my hands,<\/p>\n

Job 31:<\/b><\/a>4 <\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Does not he see my ways and number all my steps?\u00a0\u201cIf I have walked with falsehood and my foot has hastened to deceit;\u00a0\u00a0(Let me be weighed in a just balance, and let God know my integrity!)\u00a0\u00a0if my step has turned aside from the way and my heart has gone after my eyes, and if any spot has stuck to my hands,\u00a0\u00a0then let me sow, and another eat, and let what grows for me be rooted out.<\/p>\n

16<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u201cIf I have withheld anything that the poor desired, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail,\u00a0\u00a0or have eaten my morsel alone, and the fatherless has not eaten of it<\/p>\n

19<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0if I have seen anyone perish for lack of clothing, or the needy without covering,\u00a0\u00a0if his body has not blessed me, and if he was not warmed with the fleece of my sheep,\u00a0\u00a0if I have raised my hand against the fatherless, because I saw my help in the gate,\u00a0\u00a0then let my shoulder blade fall from my shoulder, and let my arm be broken from its socket.<\/p>\n

24<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u201cIf I have made gold my trust or called fine gold my confidence,\u00a0\u00a0if I have rejoiced because my wealth was abundant or because my hand had found much,\u00a0\u00a0if I have looked at the sun when it shone, or the moon moving in splendor,\u00a0\u00a0and my heart has been secretly enticed, and my mouth has kissed my hand,<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 17:10<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0\u201cI the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 23:24<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the LORD. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the LORD.<\/p>\n

Ecclesiastes 12:14<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.<\/p>\n

Romans 2:16<\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n

Hebrews 4:12<\/b><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.\u00a0\u00a0And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.<\/p>\n

God sees the intents of our heart and mind. \u00a0He sees the secret places we hind within ourselves that no one else sees. \u00a0In Hebrews it tells us that His word is living and is able to discern our thoughts and intentions of our heart. \u00a0This is true if we stay in His word. \u00a0Reading it, meditating on it, and seeking understanding from it. \u00a0If this is not something you can you every say ”\u00a0if my step has turned aside from the way and my heart has gone after my eyes,”? \u00a0I see the problem all around where people who proclaim to be a follower of Christ do not spend more than once a week in His word. \u00a0The natural result of this is the culture around us will then dictate what the intent of our mind and heart is – it has no other influence. \u00a0I can give example after example of seeing this: \u00a0Men who think only of themselves and their activities at the expense of their wife, children, family. \u00a0Their free time is only given to themselves and what they want to do without any thought given to others in their family. \u00a0Men will golf, hunt, fish, play sports, cars, trucks, etc…. and expect they are fulfilling Gods call in their life to lead their families. \u00a0How will men\u00a0give account before God for the time they have wasted away. \u00a0I am not saying any of these actives are bad, however if they discount God given obligations in the home and family then they are bad. \u00a0All of us men can take heed to this and improve. \u00a0I am the last one to make recommendation. \u00a0Too often I get side tracked and focused on me, myself, and I forgetting to appreciate the family God has given me. \u00a0Ask God to reveal to your heart His intent for you in regard of your family, wife and children. \u00a0Ask Him to convict you of selfish actions. \u00a0Be humble enough to confess and change. Remember our purpose this side of eternity is to humbly serve, honor and obey Him in all aspects of our lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
