Psalms 35:1\u00a0 Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me!<\/strong>\u00a0Take hold of shield and buckler and rise for my help!\u00a0Draw the spear and javelin against my pursuers! Say to my soul, \u201cI am your salvation!<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0Let them be put to shame and dishonor who seek after my life! Let them be turned back and disappointed who devise evil against me!\u00a0Let them be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the LORD driving them away!\u00a0Let their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Psalms 43:1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Vindicate me, O God, and defend my cause against an ungodly people,<\/strong> from the deceitful and unjust man deliver me!<\/p>\n

Proverbs 22:23\u00a0\u00a0for the LORD will plead their cause<\/strong> and rob of life those who rob them.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah 51:36\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Therefore thus says the LORD: \u201cBehold, I will plead your cause and take vengeance for you<\/strong>. I will dry up her sea and make her fountain dry,<\/p>\n

Lamentations 3:58\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cYou have taken up my cause, O Lord; you have redeemed my life.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Acts 5:39\u00a0\u00a0but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them.<\/strong> You might even be found opposing God!\u201d So they took his advice,<\/p>\n

Psalms 32:9\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding<\/strong>, which must be curbed with bit and bridle, or it will not stay near you.<\/p>\n

Scripture is full of examples of where God interceded \u00a0on behalf of His people. \u00a0He took vengeance on those who disregarded Him. \u00a0He gave refuge to those in need of protection. \u00a0He conquered \u00a0those who seemed mighty. \u00a0He confounded those who had plans and means. \u00a0It is terrible to fall into the hands of God in His wrath, fury, and anger. \u00a0Yet, people do it all the time and continue to do so. \u00a0I am not sure what our purpose is in all of this but I do know we have opportunity to speak God and Christ into those who are separated and lost from God. \u00a0Our lives can be a reflection of His grace, mercy and love. \u00a0Fill yourself with His word and be a vessel over filled with kindness, gentleness, peace, and joy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
