Habakkuk 1:2<\/i><\/b><\/span> \u00a0 <\/span>How long, LORD, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, \u201cViolence!\u201d but you do not save? Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds. Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Today, evil is strong and Satan seems to be winning the battle for America. What\u2019s causing this fall into destruction?\u00a0\u201cRighteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.\u201d Proverbs 14:34.<\/strong><\/span><\/em>\u00a0God is being rejected and sin is being exalted; Godly values are laughed at and sin is legalized.\u00a0Today, we don\u2019t want to offend anyone by saying Merry Christmas, schools teach evolution as fact, make it seem OK for Tommy to have two mommies, and ask transgender storytellers to read to our children, yet we ask God to stop the madness that\u2019s gripping this nation. God cannot be blamed for the evil that\u2019s destroying this nation, because His will is being rejected. Even professing Christians keep silent. \u00a0 <\/span>Do you love the darkness of sin? We cannot live in both darkness and light at the same time. Christians must submit to God\u2019s will and stand upon Biblical truth and moral values. If Christians don\u2019t faithfully follow God\u2019s will in these troubled times, then we can\u2019t blame Him for the problems which are tearing America apart, as well as the entire world.<\/p>\n

There are many Christians who cry out to God for His mercy, but our voices are drowned out by many who just don\u2019t care or who think this madness is normal. God does listen. He hears our prayer and is willing to act, but we can\u2019t have it both ways. We can\u2019t have His blessings unless we repent and submit to Him. That\u2019s what is missing today\u2026repentance. How many Christians accept sin as a normal part of life? \u201cOne-night stands\u201d are sin. Pornography is sin, even if it\u2019s disguised as a movie or music. Abortion is sin. Homosexuality is sin. Why does it seem God isn\u2019t listening? Our sin (as a nation and as a person) gets in the way. That means we must want to turn away from the ways of the world that so easily distract us from living to honor, glorify, worship, follow, obey, trust, and rely on Jesus Christ. We need to repent of our sins, turn away from worldly ways, and submit to God\u2019s will. There\u2019s still time for you to reject sin selfish desires, selfish wants, worldly acceptance, and wickedness.\u00a0 <\/span>We can easily see that wickedness is gripping our nation.\u00a0 <\/span>It is time for each of us to look into our heart, mind, and soul, and repent of that which is neglectful, complacent, and not God honoring or glorifying.<\/p>\n

We know that this world isn\u2019t our home, but while we live here, we need to witness to the lost and do what we can to share the Gospel. Only Jesus Christ can change hearts, but we need to speak His truth. It should be our will, as it is God\u2019s will, that the lost should come to redemption the Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

We know that God\u2019s desire is for everyone to come to repentance, so praying \u201cThy will be done\u201d is where we need to start. How can we expect God to bless America unless Americans turn from the wickedness of their own will and wicked intents? Stop living in opposition to God.\u00a0\u201cThe foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.\u201d Proverbs 19:3.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/em>We tend to blame God for all problems, but it\u2019s our own fault that sin abounds.
